My Past 6 months in Photos

First Shayna and Matt got married... Jon and I were honored to be in the wedding!

Jon had a "Great" time at the reception!

Then there was the wedding of Jill and Shawn!

Jon also had a "Great" time at Jill and Shawn's reception!

Meanwhile our house was going up fast!

Then Brett and Abby welcomed their first baby...... Elle!

It is safe to say ... that we are completely and forever smitten with this little one.

and everyday she grows more and more....

And then finally we moved into our new home!

Point of the story...... there's been a lot going on....

 Leave it to me to leave my camera battery at home and miss the first part of the engagement shoot, but thankfully I got the battery in time (thanks to my hubby Jon) to take these Lovely photos of my cousin Jill and her fiancé Shawn. These are only a few of my unedited photos.
Major shout out to Andrea Dozier and her ever inspiring ideas and style! I feel so honored to be able to tag along with her on some of her shoots and learn a thing or two!

Nerd Alert

Have you ever watched a movie and totally missed the whole plot because you were too distracted with some small detail? Well I have numerous times and normally it is because of some fabulous interiors.
So today "It's Complicated" happened to be on tv... and I thought Oh Yes!.... not because I like the movie, or the plot or even the actors...... but because Meryl Streep has my dream kitchen in the movie. Im not sure exactly what it is... but I love it. It is simple, sort of rustic, cozy and functional! Check it out!

My sister (Abby) is pregnant!
She is due in November and I am so excited to spoil that little nugget!

Jon and I are building a house!
We will move in in December and we are crazy busy trying to get things in order.

Anyway I have been so busy... with the new job, restraining myself from buying baby clothes too soon,  and dealing with all the details of building a house.
In the meantime I put together a little outfit that is going to get my through a lot of this summer! I purchased a maxi and I am finding that it is appropriate for all occasions.......
baby shower ...... check
shopping with friends.......check
dinner date with hubby...... check
If you haven't jumped on the Maxi dress train, I highly recommend it. It can be casual with some flats and a cute jean jacket and dressed up with some cute jewlery and some snazzy shoes!

Chambray Love

Chambray is popping up everywhere and I am planning my first purchase.
You know at first I was like umm..... Canadian Tuxedo? But now I'm beginning to love it. I think there are lots of options as far as what will go with a Chambray shirt... perhaps dark denim, a colored jean, or maybe even white denim.
